Scope of research

The project of the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium is based on the experience of the Geophysical Center in Dourbes with focus on geomagnetism and research about the ionosphere. The aim of the project is to develop products and services for magnetic observation measurements, aviation- and satellite navigation (Galileo-project), the environment and the magnetic characterizing of materials.
